About Sita
I come to this work with over 35 years of experience in nursing, much of it shaped by close, steady accompaniment with people at vulnerable and meaningful moments of life. My path has included palliative care training, extensive clinical experience, and a deep respect for the emotional, spiritual, and relational dimensions of health and dying. Along the way, travel to India and a lifelong relationship with music have further informed how I listen, how I sit with uncertainty, and how I understand the human experience beyond words.
Since 2001, I have lived primarily in the Yukon, where the land, community, and rhythm of life profoundly influenced my values and approach to care. I now reside in Fort McMurray, close to my daughter and granddaughter, holding both family life and professional calling with equal care. As a certified Archetypal Consultant and End-of-Life Doula, I offer thoughtful, grounded support to individuals and families navigating life transitions, illness, and end-of-life. My work is rooted in presence, integrity, and the belief that meaning, choice, and compassion matter—especially at life’s thresholds.
